We use a high-concentration black dye and dye the fabric twice. The first dye establishes the base color, and the second dye makes it darker. This process ensures our black is rich, deep, and truly black-not greyish. Customers often comment that our black is very true to color when they receive it. We call this "extra black."

We dye over 50 tons of black fabric every month, with this Black Jersey Knit Fabric making up the majority of that volume. Our black color fastness is Grade 4, meaning it does not fade when washed. Fading is a common problem with black fabric, which can stain other clothes. We have solved this problem.

Every batch is tested for color fastness. We conduct both machine and manual tests: machines provide numerical data, and workers rub the fabric with white cloth to check for transfer. We only ship the fabric after both tests are passed. We never skip testing steps to save time.
